Greetings from the Agape family.
Great to talk to you John a few days ago, and I promised myself
that I would send you e-mail right away, but a few days have slipped
by already, so sorry about that. Life is FULL and wonderful I wouldn't
want it any better and I wouldn't change anything. Just want to
do more and be more effective in ministry.
Now back to the purpose of this letter.
Bikes that are needed. For the big kids we need 5 bikes. I'm
not sure if you want to buy bikes for the smaller kids, 10 of them,
they have training wheels. They are all asking for a bike, and
feel they are left out when the bigger kids got theirs. These kids
are 5 and 6 years old. Really you can make your own decision on
that. For me I like for all of them to have a bike. And we do have
an AIDS project in the villages where we support 28 kids; we often
give those kids bikes that we have here at Agape that our kids
use. I love to give and bless others.
And we also want to build a roof and a structure for them to
keep their bikes in, out of the rain and sun. They truly do love
their bikes. Wish I could get couple bikes for the adults in the
mother and baby unit. I see them riding the kid’s bikes in
the evenings and some of the kids are not real happy about it.
I guess kids are kids all the same around the world. Agree?
We are starting to put in place programs that will help the kids
to develop their skills better, also some of the children are very
slow in development, and we want to buy some equipment for the
school so we can help them to develop quicker and better.
The Thai schools are out for more than 2 months, and we, the
teachers and volunteers and doing special activates with the children
and when the children go back to school we want to carry on with
this program. You may like to help to sponsor the program.
